Wrestling with Papa

Jude Man

Making Popsicles from organic juice. The banana piece was supposed to weigh down the Popsicle stick...didn't work but they tasted just as yum.

Farmer John-Mark

Who's taller? Looks like the Snap peas have him beat.

Hunk harvesting our Kale
Yum....snap peas, grape tomatoes, Persian cucs, beets and kale and my beautiful vintage Pyrex.

Steamed Kale with garlic, lemon and sesame seeds and a salad with the rest.

Visited Tanaka Farms again only this time we brought Papa. Tanaka Farms had another pick/cookout for their CSA families. Little Grandma came too. It was a beautiful day!

Picking wax beans
Little Grandma
Jude's hair after rubbing some sunscreen on his head!

Preparing our meal
Pictures on the hay stacks after lunch.
After picking strawberries for dessert we took a wagon ride that was pulled by a tractor.

Violin lesson. My form is horrible. I was caught on camera! Mrs. Lindsay would say "wrist disease" and not to rest my arm on my hip....I need to watch Ella...her form is right!

Quotes by Gabriella

Gabriella:"Mom, did you know that Kale and Swiss Chard have the highest nutrients"
Mom: "Yes, Kale has the highest form of plant based protein."
G: "Yeah, and you know, it's important to keep your immune system high."

Visited Ikea the other day and this is what Ella sang on the way there.
G: "Ikea was a wee little man an a wee little man was he."

When at my folks house this weekend
G: "Grandma, would you please oblige me and come play with me." (thank you Jane Austin)

Thanks for keeping us posted! Your veggies look wonderful. I never tire of hearing "Ella's quotes". For Dad and I it's wonderful to have a window into your lives.
