Jude Elliot's 3rd Birthday

Our first born son turned 3 on Saturday. 

We celebrated with family and enjoyed our day with Jude.  

My mom made him a Super man cape for the occasion. When we go to her house he often takes a blanket and pretends it's his cape and says "Superman"! No idea where he got that. Now that he has a cape, do you think he wanted to wear it...nope. Maybe another time.

  This kid is scooting all over the place....time to keep a closer eye on him. The other day I caught him eating a piece of kale......that had fallen on the floor from dinner the night before.  

 This boy smiled for the camera but he is not a fan of taking pictures.

 Yes....I bought him a drum and symbols. Am I crazy? No. This kid is so musical....I think even more so than Gabriella....In fact, I will go out on a limb to say I think this kids has some major musical talent. He's been carrying a tune since under a year old, loves the piano, guitar, drums, singing, and can remember how to sing lots of songs...even ones with difficult chord progressions. So yes, I bought him a drum because I wanted to encourage this ability that I  really think he has. We shall see.

Remind me to tell you about the time (like oh... yesterday) that Gabriella got her hair stuck in the wheels of the track when the motor was running. Let's just say scissors were involved.

 The kids usually have a joint Birthday Party. Sissy's Bday is the day after Jude's. She was so sweet and content to have this day be all about Jude. This weekend we're having her Birthday party with her friends. :)

Auntie Mo made Vegan Chocolate Cupcakes. They were so delish.

She also made raw chocolate mini cakes. Gluten free, which allowed my dad to partake as well.These were scrumptious too. 

We were singing Happy Birthday to Juji...he was so shy about it.

I love our little family. We're so blessed.

Thank you Mo for the delish desserts and yum salad and Mom for bringing lunch for everyone! And, thank you Omi and Opa for coming on such short notice for only 24 hours or less!! That was really a special treat for the kids! :)
