Our life is very full...sometimes crazy busy. 4 kids, home school, church group, family, work, extra curricular, chores on top of chores.....Sometimes we feel like we can't breathe. Simplicity is what we desire. We long for it. A simple life....a slower life....a purposeful life. It's coming. I can almost taste it...We are making strides with God's help to achieve this slower life. Change is coming....perhaps a move...a sabbatical if you will. We are ready for this life....a healthier life for our mind, body and soul. Stay tuned.
Until then....here are snaps of our crazy busy life. These images were taken in the month of April-May.
Simi was 4 months on April 17th. Happiest Baby on earth.

Hello Tigger
Hi Pooh
My honey sitting on some honey
On May 3rd we dedicated our Simeon John at church
(This is not actually our church building in Fullerton, but the Youth Room at our "Mother church" in La Mirada)
Omi and Opa came for his dedication as well as Grandma, Little Grandma, Auntie Mo, Uncle Ronnie, Uncle Aaron and Auntie Robin. Forgot to take photos of everyone! Boo.
Papa reading Luke 2: 25-32, the scripture passage we chose for Simi which talks about the Simeon of the New Testament, whom we named our son after.
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, 28 he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said,
29
“Lord, now you are letting your servant[d] depart in peace,
according to your word;
30
for my eyes have seen your salvation
31
that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
32
a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.”

You can see that our 2 big boys were a little bashful and didn't want to join us on stage!

Also on May 3rd I celebrated 12 years of marriage with this man!
We had a lovely dinner at Kentros in Fullerton- our favorite Lebanese Restaurant!

My darling girl. She has taken Art lessons at this wonderful place for 2 years. This was her last day of class for this school year. She really has grown and has been inspired. So grateful for the teachers at the Art House. They have fostered lots of creativity in Gabriella and have provided such a nice environment for her to learn.
Kisses. He gets a lot of them...not just from me
5 Months on May 17th!
Yes, he is as scrumptious as he looks....more
John and JM share an office together, we're also neighbors, we attend church with them, our kids play together and love each other, many meals and bottles of wine we've had together, many nights of prayer and sweet fellowship.
These two men love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. I've seen the Lord work in and through these two men in mighty ways and He is not finished.
We said goodbye to John, wife Renée and 2 kiddos this past Sunday. They will be living in England for 6 months. God's work to be done in England and we give them our blessing as they embark on this adventure. It's hard to say goodbye though....even for a little while. We love you Rinos. Keep the tea warm for us.
