Jude's 4 months, Great Grandma Nickel is 90 and it's Christmas time!

Can you believe how big he's getting! Our boy turned 4 months on the 21st of November!

A friend of mine had the great idea to share on her blog all the wonderful quotes her daughter Greta says. I laughed out loud when I read them. So..I'm stealing her idea and will begin sharing with you quotes of Miss Ella girl. A riot she is. Today Ella said "Mom, I love you more than a cup of tea!" Glad to know her love for me is greater than decaf chai with rice milk.

Last month we celebrated Grandpa's 75th, Opa's 57th and Great Grandma Nickel's 90th!

We went to Reedley for a big celebration for Great-Grandma. She is a wonderful godly woman and such a light in our lives.

Time to decorate for Christmas. Gabriella was so excited this year to decorate the tree and house. What a help she was. Every day we look forward to opening another window of our Advent Calendar and read about the journey Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem . Soon baby Jesus will be born.

Every year we have a Christmas gathering with our closest friends. Christmas this year was at our place. We had Swiss Raclette for dinner (http://www.raclettecorner.com/ ...for those of you interested) John-Mark grew up having Raclette when he lived in his Fatherland Germany. What a great meal on a cold winters night. We had a great time with each other and welcomed our dear friend Chris (standing at the end) back home from South Africa. Ooops..left my laundry hanging on the line outside. :)
