January 2010

Busy January for the Warks! Some highlights......
-JM met with a professional gardener...yes you read right. Art, the gardener came to the house and assessed our little backyard and soil and gave JM some gardening tips. I can't wait to post pictures of our soon to be Organic Garden.

-It rained cats and dogs and other animals too! We loved the rain and thunder, lightening and hail! Even thought about what to do if a tornado actually visited Fullerton....it didn't, but near by cities experience them. Loved the rain...I wish it would visit more often.

-JM joined a basketball league at EV Free Fullerton Church. He's looking forward to 11 weeks of basketball games but sadly said his team doesn't look very promising. We will see!

-Gabriella has a new violin teacher, Mrs. Lindsay! She starts lessons on February 1st! Can't wait to post those videos. She is looking forward to it and has informed me that she wants to play the piano too.

-Jude turned 6 months and is now eating solids! Got my food processor out and I'm back in business making homemade baby food. Jude is pleased as punch!

Before the rains came JM and the kids enjoyed the sunshine outside. A little sun, a little gardening, a little sidewalk chalk.

I'm 6 months and happy!
Cool,what's this?....I think I'll......
...eat it.
I'm in heaven!

Our little lady continues to create art at least once or twice a day. I love this one. She said this girl has bangs and pigtails. I asked where her eyebrows were. She added them....I should keep my mouth shut and stop micro-managing her. She's fantastic on her own.

Me on the left...Gabriella at the bottom right...I think Jude top right....we asked her to stop and get ready for bed before she disclosed who the top right was. I love the flower in my hair.
I love this funny girl
I keep forgetting to post her quotes. She continues to make us laugh. Here are a couple.

Mad: (speaking to JM about a shirt she was wearing yesterday) "That shirt never seemed to fit her right. It's too big for her."
JM: "No, it's ok. It fits her."
Gabriella: "My shirt is ghetto!!!"

M: "Gabriella, finish your rice milk."
G: "I'm done mom. Maybe you can give it to Jude"
M: "No honey, Jude doesn't drink rice milk. He only drinks milk from Mama"
G:"Well, isn't that what's in there?"
JM: "No it's not rice milk, it's Mama's milk specifically for Jude"
G: "(pause)....Is it Soy?
M & JM: (laughing inside) "No, it's not soy...just Mama's special milk"
G: "...So it's plain."

On December 30th we went to see Mary Poppins at the Ahmanson. It was brilliant. Gabriella loved Supercalafragalistic..........I'm tired of typing.

My mom's neighbor is an incredible seamstress. She made personalized towels for both Jude and Gabriella. Her own creations. They are beautiful. So soft and luxurious..and huge!

Goodnight everyone!

Thanks for all the pics and movie clips! Great, great moments. We like the quotes too...

Thanks for sharing them. Life goes on.

I'm preparing to share/speak at Bethany church tomorrow and working hard on Disc #6, our final DVD this year.

We'll see what God has in store for the future.
