This is the 8th year we've enjoyed a long weekend vacation with friends. Our early vacations were backbacking trips....can't really do that anymore. Between the 5 couples we now have 7 little ones. Uncle Kit's family owns a great cabin in Lake Shaver and so we enjoyed our 4 day weekend together there. One day we rented a pontoon boat and went out on the lake. The weather was gorgeous. The kids had so much fun jumping in the water!
(We missed you Uncle Carrot....still in South Africa.)

| Jonesy is a fun uncle and would make the kids laugh and laugh with his funny faces and gorilla impressions. He and the kids were pretending there was a robber loose (Joe Capricio named by Gabriella). Joe ran by the cabin with a ski mask on and scared us all....but Gabriella knew better. It was only Uncle Jonesy! |

This looks fun! Is this the same Shaver Lake we went to over Labor Day? Just east of Reedley? Too funny.
