This post is really for my extended family who it was wonderful to see a couple weeks back! My cousin's wife Brooke took tons of picture of Little Grandma's party. Thank you Brooke! Here are some fun pictures of the family.

Miss Cassidy is Madelyn's aunt, although Madelyn in a couple months older! Madelyn is my cousin Stevie's oldest son Vince's daughter!! Did you get that? The two were inseparable that weekend and such cuties! |

The two Madelyns
I found out that weekend (after all this time) that Vince and Brooke named their daughter after me! How sweet is that! |

So, in our family, it is tradition and customary to have a Menudo brunch the morning after a party. If you've never had Menudo....well, it's interesting. I ate it as a kid but not any more. Love the flavor especially with a squeeze of lemon, fresh cilantro and oregano...not so excited about the ingredients though. My sis found a vegan recipe that I wouldn't mind trying. JM had his first bowl ever and like it. Traaaa-di-tioooon Tradition! |
