Took a trip to Reedley last weekend. Such fun times. Gabriella and Jude especially loved being at Opa and Omi's house....highlights....their stairs, riding bikes, playing hide and go seek in the yard, planting a tree. A couple days after we came home Jude said "Mama, I want to go to Opa's house again...I want to see Opa again." I said " How come Jude?" just to see what he'd say. He said "Because I love him." It was so dear and sounded so sweet coming from Jude's little voice.

Ansi Mansi
Opa and Omi have a wall in their closet that has all the measurements of their kids through the years. The wall now has measurement of all the grandkids. It's fun to see them grow!

My mom-in-law Geri and I enjoyed looking at an old Ladies Home Journal circa 1949 that she had. The adds were classic! Love the clothing styles but the food in the magazine was almost inedible. Enjoy these funnies.

Pretty girl. She just loves visiting the farm.
We planted Ansel's tree this weekend. All of our kiddos now have a tree planted on the farm. It's such a special ebenezer. JM and I have one for when we got married too.

As I write this Jude saw this picture and said Ewwwww! Yes, this is Ansel's placenta
(planted Jude's placenta under Jude's tree too)...good nutrients for the tree and I'm thankful it's being useful....don't look if you're squeamish!
Poor sweet Jude woke up on the wrong side of the car seat and didn't want to smile for the picture.
Great Grandma Nickel met Ansi for the first time. We visited Grandma Warkentin too but I don't have a photo of that. :(

Brings back great memories from a fun weekend. It was fun to see the hide and seek video. Loved the pic of Dad and JM, but all the pics were fun to look at. The placenta one.....ewwwww. But memorable.
