I'm a Big Kid Now

Look who's a big kid now and is officially potty trained! He really was the one to initiate. We tried earlier this year to potty train...sometimes he made it to the toilet, other times he preferred the diaper...we let our efforts go until he was ready.  Just this month he really wanted to go in the toilet by himself. I bought him some more undies at Costco and some pull-ups for the night. Done! He's a champ. Proud of our Jude man.

This is Jude going potty for probably the 3rd time after already being put to bed for the night....When he yells from his room "Mama, Papa, I have to go peee-peeeee!!!", we can't tell him "No Jude you can't get up anymore, go in your pull-up." He wins...we win.

So...harvested our carrots and learned some things about growing root vegetables. Found out that you shouldn't plant carrots from seed in starter containers (which we did)....it probably stunts their growth. Plus, carrots apparently don't like well fertilized soil (which we have). So, we harvested deformed and not so carrot looking carrots.

Aren't they crazy looking?!

Snow peas are yum though.

These are Gabriella's zinnias that she grew in her plot.

JM took some precious images of our little ones on our bed. It wasn't planned, it just happened. So thankful God gave him good light and sweet faces to photograph.

Our Gabriella....she's growing up. Starting 1st grade...getting tall....is more beautiful with each passing day. I often said when she was a baby.."I wonder what she will look like when she's 6 years old"....Crazy that that time is here. She's so beautiful to us, inside and out.

Ansel Finn...he just goes along with the program. Whatevzzz!

He is so expressive with his eyes

This little boy hasn't been sleeping too well at night. Those pesky teeth are bugging him again. Mama and Papa are feeling like we have a newborn in the house with all the waking up he's doing. JM snuck up on me and took this picture after I fell asleep nursing him. I'll miss these moments....I just know I will.
