Our sweetie is 8 months. Ansel is in an amazing little stage. What a happy happy boy. He loves to snuggle and is content to be held by just about anyone.
Ansel is finally sitting up on his own. He's becoming so much more active and physical. He loves to play with duplo blocks and balls! I wonder if he'll be a baller like his pop.
Loving meal time. Favs? He likes everything! Sweet potatoes, zucchini, avocado, carrots, pears, mango, millet, Sometimes he make faces when I add tahini paste to his super cereal...he'll get used to it... great iron and protein. He loves to eat little pieces of kiwi and grapes. I think he's gonna love fruit like his brother.
No one makes this kid laugh like Gabriella and Jude. This boy laughs like a man when his brother and sister joke with him. I'll have to post of video of that soon. His teeth are so cute huh...except sometimes when I'm nursing.
Still can't do a thing with his hair and I don't even try. A lady at the market the other day said to me that if a baby's hair stands straight up (like Ansel's does), they will have curly hair. Is that true?? We shall see.
Did your mom ever make flubber for you as a kid? I found this recipe and made it for the kids last week. I even had a little fun too. Make it for your munchkins..It's easy and it's instant fun.
Flubber
Mixture 1:
1 ½ cups warm water2 cups Elmer’s Glue (get non-toxic)
Food coloring (I didn't have any so we just went with white)
Mixture 2:
3 tsp. Borax
1 cup Warm Water
Stir mixture 1 together in 1 bowl.
Mixture 2 in another bowl.
Make sure both are mixed well.
Pour mixture 1 into mixture 2.
There is no need to stir the mixture but you can if you want because it is the chemical reaction that actually makes the flubber. When it is in a glob work it for 2-3 minutes. Initially it feels wet but it eventually dries up to the final product.
Ewwwww!
It took Jude a day to touch the stuff. He was so unsure about it and thought it was gross. It is... but it's funnn!
