First Day of 5th, 2nd and PreK/K !!

The Kids started school August 22nd. We are embarking on our 7th year of homeschooling! 7 years ago Gabriella entered into a home school Pre-School class....little did I know this would be the beginning of a wonderful journey we call home-education.

Gabriella Milan! Our beautiful 10 year old daughter is in 5th grade! Here in California, Middle School starts in 6th!....so last year of elementary? Sniff Sniff. She was so excited this year to join her co-op again two days a week. We're so happy for her that she could be with her friends again on a regular basis.Gabriella is a sweet, fun loving young girl who is truly a book worm, loves art, enjoys violin and loves social events, crafts and being with people.  We love her heart for Jesus and others.

Jude Elliot is in 2nd grade!! I love this boy...He's becoming more outgoing, is very athletic, he's reading so well these days, likes to do math and art, is very musical and is always humming or singing....I mean always people.....like never stops....like, where's the off button. My Jude, he's a sweet and sensitive spirit that kid....and also has a funny sneaky side...likes jokes, likes to tease and is a major Dodger fan and knows everything....well, he knows way more than me!!
Ansel Finn! I love this boy. He is original and his own person which we love! We're working on learning to read, and write and drawing. He is a great remember-er and comprehends so much just by listening to me teach the other kids. He like History, and read alouds and legos! He is our out going boy and is often outside chatting it up with the postman or the neighbors. He is full of life and energy and is constantly hungry like Jude. If I let Ansel be a Fruit-a-tarian...He would be. That's his fav. This kids, there's no one like him.

Gabriella's 5th grade Co-op. She absolutely loves it and her new teacher Miss JoJo.

The only one not in school....Our little Simeon John. He's so big and talking up a storm. He says lots of phrases like " I did it." or "Go Dodgers!" or "I don't want it" He's so funny and sweet and a big screamer when he doesn't get his way. Disciplining this little boy these days is challenging and trying sometimes but he is responding well. He's such a little love and likes to cuddle with Mama and nurse. I could eat him up. He like to be outside, loves his siblings, loves popcorn, smoothies but is a bit picky these days but I am not giving up! He is all about baseball and batting, sliding and running the bases. More on that to come......
