Tanaka Farms: Community Supported Agriculture

Earlier this month the girls (Grandma, Little Grandma, Mo, Gabriella and Me) and Jude had an outing at Tanaka Farms in Irvine. This is where all of our veggies and fruits that we receive once a week are grown. Tanaka Farms had a day for all of the CSA Families to come tour the farm, pick your veggies, wash them and have a cook out. It was a stormy morning but God was good and it didn't rain on us for the tour. We had a ball!! So tasty! That's a radish not a beet!!! All the veggies are organically grown We picked spinach, snap peas, cilantro, onions, radishes, and bok choy Aren't you gonna wait to wash it Grandma! Little Grandma washing her veggies
Tanaka provided tofu and spices and of course the grill to cook veggies. Note Gabriella cutting her tofu. The girl can use a knife at 3 1/2!!
Picking Strawberries for Dessert!
Tanaka gave us tomato plants to take home too!

It was fun seeing your pics from Tanaka Farms. It must have been a fun outing. Ella is learning to be a chef already!
