We were excited to dedicate Jude Elliot on Aug 1st at our church Grace EV Free La Mirada. We just love our church and our church family. What a special moment. JM's dad prayed over Jude and sang him a blessing from the book of Numbers. The life verse we chose for Jude is Isaiah 46:3-4 and 8-11
3 "Listen to me, O house of Jacob,
all you who remain of the house of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since you were conceived,
and have carried since your birth.
4 Even to your old age and gray hairs,
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
8 "Remember this, fix it in mind,
take it to heart, you rebels.
9 Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say: My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that will I bring about;
what I have planned, that will I do.
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
(Gabriella was a little shy and didn't want to join us on the stage for this picture.)

The weather has been so nice... uncommonly cool for this time of year. I thank God daily for this mild weather. I despise the heat and really don't feel well in it. God's been so gracious to me this year. The days have been lovely for spending time outside.

Jude's first time in the pool. He loved it!! Now when he takes a bath you'd think he was in the pool the way he splashes. Yay for water all over the floor.
Our summer garden is coming to an end. Here are a couple shots of our tomatoes and other little things. Aren't they gorgeous! Taste great too. My favs are the big Pink Lady Heirlooms. So sweet.
W got another artist on our hands. (Look,he's a righty...I think) He was so happy to draw on his sisters easel. And look, he's not eating the pen!! :)
Gabriella started swimming lessons at SPLASH in La Mirada. She is loving it so far and is becoming more and more brave!
