This Easter Season we really wanted to be intentional about teaching Gabriella and Jude about Jesus' death and Resurrection. Gabriella is really getting the true meaning and it's been interesting for us to talk with her about what really happened to Jesus.
I found this wonderful idea on a blog last year and really wanted to make sure we did it for this Easter. This is the beginning of our Hill of Calvary. You can get the idea and tutorial here. You just need a terra cotta pot, wheat berries, soil and a spray bottle. We can't wait for the berries to sprout. Once it's all covered with wheat grass, we'll open the "tomb" and see that it's empty.
