Ansel's Birthday Part 2

 We had a little family affair for Ansi's 2nd B-day. Simple and Fun.

I really liked decorating for Ansel's Birthday. The beauty of having a fall Birthday is that you can use fall decor for the celebration.

Made some simple flags with colorful paper and twine

Made a little Pom Pom garland with burlap ribbon (which I'm still trying to figure out how to drape properly). The pom poms were easy to make but took time. I love me some Martha Stewart video tutorials.

Ansel liked his yum cupcakes Papa and Opa made...Orange Blossom Gluten Free Cupcakes with Cashew Cream. Yum.

Once we started singing and he was shy and clung to Mama.

I think he wasn't so sure about those little sticks of fire either

 He blew them out......

 .....but then back to Mama he went.
