Facelift #2...JM's nightstand

Second furniture painting project...JM's nightstand. Right after we got married I bought this little guy at an estate sale for $25. It's been a nice little side table but was in need of some sprucing up.  I sanded it a little before I painted it...it could have used more sanding or even some stripping.  It was much more difficult to paint because of all the detail on the sides and little tiny grooves along some of the edges. Took me a while to finish this little guy.

This is after some minimal sanding

I painted it several coats of white then distressed it a bit. I liked how it turned out so much that I made it my new night stand! Hee! Sorry JM. No biggie for him. He's so easy. I gave him another little side table that was in the kid's bedroom. He's perfectly satisfied with that and to boot, it has a little cabinet door with shelves for his stuff.

 Nice and Fresh

Madelyn,

That turned out really nice and looks great in that corner! I wonder what I could do with some of my pieces here? We did a lot of staining of our oak pieces way back when but I think I'm too lazy to do that again.
Anyway, you go girl!
