Our Big Girl started her first day of school this week! She was so excited! In fact, that morning as I was getting ready she walked into the bathroom at 7 am and said "MOM, I thought you were going to wake me up!" There are many home school co-op groups through our church. Sadly when I inquired about them for the fall, they were all filled. We just prayed that if Gabriella was supposed to be in a pre-K class, God would provide the right teacher and class. Well, this month, He did! She is in Miss Charissa's class and goes 1 day a week from 9-12:30. This is a great introduction to school for Gabriella. She is so ready and eager to learn.
Miss Char teaches out of one of the student's home and brings school with her. They will be learning their days of the week as well as the months and weather, practicing writing letters, numbers, and phonics. There will be Bible stories, memory verses, hymn singing, crafts and show and tell. Gabriella loved her first day!
