Gabriella has been taking violin for 8 months now. She is doing so well and I am one proud Mama. We thank God that He has provided the finances to give her lessons with such an amazing teacher!
Practice, practice, practice...there are many days when I not only have to motivate her to pick up the violin but myself included! We're working hard. It's paying of. It's all starting to click.
Reading and identifying every note correctly is still a challenge for her but Lindsay, her teacher says it will come in time. I appreciate that Lindsay is adamant about having Gabriella read the notes instead of writing in the letters above the notes on her music. She really is committed to teaching Gabriella how to read music.
Our girl is doing so well and we love that music is part of her education. Bravo my little darling!
